CHILDREN AND YOUTH
Children and Youth programmes are focused on applying visual thinking strategies to the challenges young learners face in their daily lives. Our educators teach kids what to draw and how to draw them in order to improve learning, problem-solving, creative thinking and communication. We make every session fun and relevant by including games, presentations, and authentic tasks that have real-world application.
Unleash Your Visual Genius – Solving Problems With Simple Pictures
Suitable for: Ages 8-12

Description
How can children solve problems they face more easily? Draw out the problem in pictures. How do they remember what is taught in school better? Draw it.
Based on the latest discoveries in vision science, we show kids how thinking with pictures can help them solve common problems they face in unexpected ways, discover and develop new ideas, as well as make learning more fun and memorable. Participants will be taught how to use the <6><6> Visual Thinking Toolkit to visualize their thinking and solve problems. Visual Decoder for Stories
Suitable for: Ages 5-11
Duration: 1 hour

Description
A unique reading programme that aims to strengthen both the verbal and visual thinking ability in children. Stories entertain, but also teach children language skills, values and how the world works.
Each session includes story-telling and drawing activities. Our story sessions show the kiddos a visual way to process ideas, exercise their imagination and express themselves. They will walk away with the secret to drawing anything with confidence.
Note: Children need to be able to hold a pencil to draw.

Simple Pictures to Teach Powerful Lessons: A Visual Literacy Workshop

Description
The person who best engages the children is the person who best helps children visualise the lesson. Based on the powerful visual thinking toolkits developed by Dan Roam and adopted by numerous businesses internationally for problem-solving, this workshop shows teachers how to use <6><6>in lesson planning, delivery and material design.
By tapping on both the logical and creative mind, the scope of lesson ideas generated will expand. When visual thinking is applied to lesson design, lessons are more creative, compelling and impactful.

Visual Story Telling
Suitable for: Parents and Educators of children ages 4-8
Duration: 2 hours
Description
Do you read or tell stories to your children? Make the ideas and moral of the story more memorable through drawing! When you draw, you help children to explore and reflect on the story ideas in a different way. In the process, children’s comprehension increases and they remember the story better. We teach you what to draw and how to draw a story to make it more engaging. Every adult can do it. No artistic talent required.
