On 8 Apr 2023, PictureThink Academy’s team met Dan Roam, our Principal, over dinner when he was in Singapore. It was Dan’s first trip to Singapore post-Covid. Dinner was lovely, with great company and engaging conversation. We got to know Dan better in person and benefitted from his insights and perspectives for our visual thinking work.

We are really thankful to be part of a corporate Kids@Work event today. We conducted our Visual Decoder for Stories Programme where we read to kids ‘Flora and Nora Hunt for Treasure’ by Kim Hillyard, then taught the kids to draw simple pictures to consolidate what they learnt.
PictureThink participated at the 15th Asian Festival of Children’s Content (“AFCC”) on 25 May 2024. We shared on the topic “The Visual Decoder for Stories” with a diverse group of writers, illustrators, translators, publishers, educators and media professionals.
This competition showcased children’s creativity and ability to reflect thoughtfully about what they learn from stories.
